Here’s How Drupal Can Be a Force for Diversity and Inclusion

As a long-time member of the Drupal community and a co-founder of Evolving Web, I think there's a huge opportunity to leverage Drupal to build a stronger, more plural open source community. Drupal has long led the way in the digital space as a tool to create accessible content and experiences for all kinds of audiences. Being more explicit about our actions to increase the inclusiveness of the community that surrounds Drupal is an important next step.

Drupal Design Camp Boston 2011: Why Drupal Camps are Important

Last weekend, five members of our team went down to Boston for the third annual Drupal Design Camp. Held on the MIT campus at the Stata Center, the camp was a great success, extremely well organized, and lots of fun to attend. On the drive back to Montreal, I was thinking about why Drupal Camp is so important to both building a local Drupal community, and to fostering the talents of individuals.

Recap of Drupal Camp Montreal 2010

We had a very busy weekend at DrupalCamp Montreal over the past two days. All the sponsors and lots of volunteers from the community came together to make the event a success. About 200 attendees showed up, some from as far away as Boston and Guelph. We've certainly grown a lot as a community since our first camp of about 50 people in 2008.

Recap of Drupal Camp Toronto 2010

Last weekend, Evolving Web headed to Toronto for another successful 2010 Drupal Camp. The Drupal community in Toronto is thriving, and there were lots of enthusiastic attendees including freelancers, hobbyists, and service providers. Attendees came from all over Southern Ontario, as well as Quebec and the United States.
